Centiro continues at top position among Sweden’s best workplaces

Mar 29, 2017

BORÅS March 29 – When Great Place to Work® Institute, the global authority on building, sustaining, and recognizing high-trust, high-performing workplace cultures, selected Sweden’s Best Workplaces for 2017, the software company Centiro ended up in the top 5 for the eighth year in a row. Centiro was ranked fifth in the medium-sized organization (50–249 employees) category and once again earned a place in the Hall of Fame for its commitment to create a strong workplace culture.

It’s a great feeling and I’m thrilled that we’ve managed to retain our position among the top 5. We continuously work to make use of the feedback we receive, both by means of the survey and through dialogue with colleagues. All in order to constantly develop our workplace. We’re very determined in our work to create a good workplace and build a creative environment that capitalizes on all the motivation and energy that our employees offers,” says Åsa Beronius, HR Manager.

Clear structures, a strong culture, good attitudes and confidence in the ability of employees are the cornerstones of Centiro’s personnel policy and work environment. This approach to each individual’s capabilities is in the company’s DNA. Centiro constantly keeps a finger on the pulse of the organization and tries to understand what each individual person needs in order to succeed. The company looks at the wider picture for each employee and values long-term relationships with its staff, customers and partners.

Over the years we have shown that employee satisfaction, growth and profitability go hand in hand. In our continued expansion there will be greater focus on sustainability for employees, the environment and business relations. For some time, we have worked in accordance with the ten sustainability principles of the United Nations Global Compact, and for us it is natural that companies to do their bit for a better world. This year’s position inspires us to move up on the list – we have lots of positive energy in our business at the moment,” says Niklas Hedin, CEO.

The award Sweden’s Best Workplaces is divided into three categories: small, medium and large organizations. The lists of Sweden’s Best Workplaces are based, in part, on a survey of the companies’ employees, who respond to a questionnaire with statements about their workplace.
