The platform
A crucial part of all our systems is the technology.
We won't go into the technology in depth here, but we would like to
provide a clear overview of the technologies structure and functionality, and how the technology can be integrated and used.

The system has been developed from the bottom up for Microsoft's .NET platform and all modern versions of Windows servers. It is one of the
best technical platforms currently available, and a driving force to take
our users and us into the future - it enables us to increase up the tempo
of development without sacrificing quality. Centiro Universe provides full support for current and future industry standards like XML, SOAP and
Web Services.

  Centiro's systems can, in principle, be integrated with any system, from a mainframe down to a PC. This is made possible by our technology and the knowledge we have gained from integrating many different systems. No matter which business or inventory control system (SAP, JD-Edwards, Scala, Astro etc.) you use, whatever the format and method you use to transfer information (file sharing, FTP/FTPS/SFTP, AS2, HTTP, MQ-series, XML, flat file, ASCII text etc.), a Centiro system can be integrated.
  
  
• Integrating carriers
  This is one of the areas in which Centiro is at the very forefront. When you need to be able to follow shifts in the market and want
  to raise the efficiency of your contacts with your carriers, the need for integrated collaboration increases.
  
  Centiro's system for integrating carriers includes the following elements:

  - Other documents that the carrier requires: delivery notes, manifests, cargo lists etc.
  - Specific logic and algorithms for routing, address validation and number allocation

  Centiro's modular design means that the specific functionality a carrier requires can be encapsulated as a component. In this way, we can use the same core in all solutions, and add only the specific component or definition that your particular carrier requires. We currently have definitions and components for over 100 carriers throughout the world, from UPS, DHL and TNT, via major national carriers and postal services, down to your local courier.
  
  The main advantage of our structure is flexibility in reaction to a market in constant flux, and the ability to quickly enter the carriers you use into the system, at a fixed price and within a specified timeframe.
  
  
• Free choice of printer
  Centiro currently supports all of the most commonly used printers, for example Zebra, Intermec, Eltron, Markpoint and TEC. We know that our users have invested a lot in their printers. Our solutions are completely printer-independent, but still utilize the particular printer language (ZPLII, Fingerprint etc.) in order to provide maximum compatibility with all printers. That's why we can guarantee that, with Centiro, you will get the maximum speed and quality from your printers.
